We at NWA Tactical are proud to offer an extremely flexible schedule to assist you in obtaining your Arkansas Concealed Carry license.
Please call us to schedule your class - Courses are available SEVEN DAYS A WEEK at our facility in Van Buren, Arkansas.
A FREE six-month range membership comes with the cost of our course.
Requirements necessary to obtain an Arkansas CHCL:
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must be lawfully present in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Not under indictment or convicted of a felony in the U.S. or elsewhere.
- Not convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence.
- Not under court order (i.e. order of protection, harassment, etc.)
- Not a fugitive from justice.
- Not a user of, or addicted to, any controlled substance.
- Not been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
- Have never renounced U.S. citizenship.
- Do not suffer from mental illness and have not been adjudicated mentally incompetent or committed to a mental institution.
In addition to the above requirements; a training course, such as ours, as approved by the Director of the Arkansas State police is required.
Course duration can vary depending on the number of students; for obvious reasons, some courses can take longer than others.
Start times vary depending on the date you choose to attend. Our classrooms are climate controlled for your comfort. Please be aware that some time is spent outdoors for qualification on our range.
Arkansas Concealed Carry Permits are valid for Five (5) Years.

Rental firearms and ammunition are available on-site for an additional charge.
- What am I required to bring to class?
- Pen (black ink only) and note taking materials
- Your handgun (unloaded, in a case or holster)
- 50 rounds of factory target ammunition.
- Eye and ear protection can be provided by our staff at no additional charge.
- Valid State Drivers license or ID card
