The Colt 9mm is a lightweight, compact weapon encompassing the same straight line construction and design of the world renowned Colt AR-15 Rifle. This straight line construction, coupled with the low recoil associated with 9mm ammunition, provides highly accurate fire with less muzzle climb. Less recoil also facilitates ease of training and improves accuracy. Like the AR-15 model, the Colt 9mm fires from closed bolt, is equipped with a 4-position sliding buttstock and is readily field stripped without the need of special tools. Operation and training are similar to that of the AR-15 Rifle eliminating the need for substantial cross training.
